     An older soul, graduate of the Greater School of Hard Knocks and Hardscrabble.  Born on the plains of the ancient Laurentian Mountains in North Minnesota and the banks of Lake Winnibigoshish, the birthing place of the mighty Mississippi.  Traveler of too many roads and not enough places, seer of too many sights and not enough visions.
     A life spent doing, without getting a whole lot done, as of yet.  Shifting around, ending up in the mountains when I know I am a child of water, I wonder what I am still doing here. 
     Happiest when outside, calmest when listening to waves break on a shore, any shore, anywhere.  Most restless when inside, with no view of the wonders outside.
     Feeling a change coming on as I question my work, how I earn my daily bread.  Can I do something else at this, a later time in  my life?  Lately, it feels like I am getting up and having breakfast every 20 minutes, the time is passing so fast.
         I love to write, and read.  I will read anything; the back of a cereal box, the same magazine over again, any one of my favorite books.  I will write for hours, if only to see how the story ends.  Sometimes, when the story ends, I have made myself cry as I didn't see the ending coming.
     I like to see, really see and try to imagine how I would capture that image with a camera, brush or words.
     I surprise people by my love of show tunes, strange trivia that sticks in my brain, quickness to laugh, sing, cry.
