For Sale:
Common Sense,

Common Sense,

Help

There was a real classifed in a southern newpaper for a wedding gown, worn once, by mistake. This kind of reminds me of that somehow.
Is your common sense still in the box, shrink wrapped? Or maybe just lightly used - or used once by mistake?
I believe my mother would gladly write me a note stating that my common sense is still new, in box. From the first day I was sure my blanket would act as a parachute to when I thought I could lift a person out of trench with one hand.
Check out - Six-Word Memoirs on Love and Heartbreak: by Writers Famous and Obscure either on Amazon or Smith magazine. It’s huge on YouTube as well.
I was thinking of reposting my wedding ring photo with - For Sale; wedding ring, used twice.
Mine has been used erratically and often in situations that I’m sure aren’t under warantee. But it’s dented and dusty and I’m sure I can’t pawn it off on anyone else at this point.
Did you seriously use the same ring twice? You didn’t think it might jinx things?
excellent!
logic is the ruin of spirit.

oh and that’s six words!
I am going to check out that six word memoir thing. I never think my sons have much common sense. most likely they never will.
oh jenni maybe they will have uncommon sense?
most likely tinkonthebrink. which I guess I can be okay with. no real choice. who needs common sense anyway.
I rather subscribe to Yvon Chouinard’s theory that- Good judgment is the result of experience, and that most experiences are the result of bad judgment.
I love that!
